Which programs can be covered with a Bildungsgutschein?

All our programs are certified and registered with the Arbeitsagentur. You can use a Bildungsgutschein to participate in any of our paths, and you may even complete multiple courses with approval from your agent.

What are the terms for receiving a free MacBook?

Masterschool is dedicated to supporting the academic success of our German students, and as part of this commitment, we provide a free MacBook to each enrolled student. No hidden terms.

If you are enrolled in our full program, the MacBook becomes yours to keep upon the successful completion of the program.

We ensure that the MacBooks are distributed in the week prior to the beginning of your cohort. This ensures you have enough time to set up and get comfortable before diving into your studies.

There are no fees, deposits, or hidden charges involved in this offer—it's completely complimentary.

I’m a student, can I participate using a Bildungsgutschein?

It is not possible to receive funding from the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter as a student, to be eligible to register at the Arbeitsagentur or Jobecenter and to receive a Bildungsgutschein, you have to be unemployed, soon to be, or in a short-time work situation.

Yes, you will get our unlimited and full support until you're hired, with an entire team working to help you get employed. You will benefit from 1:1 mentorship, extensive workshops, and active support to improve your resume and LinkedIn profile, activate your network, prepare for interviews, and more.

What language are the studies held in?

Our programs are designed to cater to a diverse set of learners by offering instruction in both English and German. Participants have the freedom to select their preferred language of instruction to ensure a comfortable and effective learning experience.

It is important to note, however, that while instructional classes are conducted in the chosen language, all learning materials and assignments are provided in English. We adopt this approach with the conviction that proficiency in English is essential for success in the tech industry, given its status as the prevalent language of global communication and business. This policy aims to enhance your English language skills alongside your chosen field of study.

Nevertheless, the immersive classroom experience and personalized support from our instructors will be fully available in your selected language. Whether you opt for German to facilitate ease of understanding or prefer the universal applicability of English, our programs are flexible to accommodate your needs. This dual-language approach ensures that you not only gain technical expertise but also enhance your linguistic proficiency, preparing you for a successful career in the tech industry.

Do I need an academic degree or prior knowledge to apply?

No. No prior knowledge in a particular field of study is required to apply. We’ve learned that this is not necessarily the best indicator of success and instead we look for candidates who are motivated, with grit, determination, and aptitude, regardless of previous knowledge or experience. However, in order to excel in Masterschool’s programs, you will need basic computer literacy skills, and at least a high school level of mathematics, be comfortable learning in English and be comfortable working in a digital environment with technical tools and with numbers.
